I am an AANP board certified nurse practitioner and I am honored to join Pulmonary Associates in July of 2016. I graduated Nurse Practitioner school in May 2014 from Troy University with my MSN as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Since that time, I have practiced in a long-term acute care setting. Prior to that I received my undergraduate BSN in nursing from Samford University School of Nursing in 2001. My nursing background was focused on trauma and intensive care. I worked as a trauma flight nurse for 9 years and in cardiac intensive care for 6 years. My passion is caring for ill patients, disease prevention, and patient/family education. I have been married for 9 years to my husband Cody, a local fireman and we have 2 children. We are active members of the Church of the Highlands. In our spare time we enjoy most any outdoor activity, waterskiing, bicycling, and hunting.
