I am honored to join Pulmonary Associates in August of 2022. I graduated from nurse practitioner school at UAB in 2014 with my MSN as an Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner and Women's Health Nurse Practitioner. I was then board certified by AANP and NCC. Since then, I have practiced in hospitalist medicine, long-term care settings, and sleep medicine. During this time I also sought my doctorate in nursing practice degree at Union University and graduated in 2017. Prior to this, I received my undergraduate BSN at the University of Alabama in 2010. My nursing focus has been emergency medicine and trauma. My passion has been caring for adults with a focus on disease prevention and health promotion through education. I have carried this passion into also educating the nurses of the future as a professor at Samford University. When I am not caring for patients or educating students, I enjoy spending time with my husband Cory who is a nurse anesthetist, and my two children. We enjoy traveling, reading, trying new restaurants, outdoor activities, and anything we can do as a family.
